When we arrived in Poland, we wanted to visit a war museum. Unfortunately it was closed for the end of year celebrations but we were still able to take photos.

It was when we went to the restaurant in the evening that we realized that Poland was not part of the Euro zone. Its currency is the "Zloty " also called the PLN, 1 Euro = 4.25 Zlt It is with our daily purchases that many things are cheaper than in France.
For example in the restaurant, for two dishes, a bottle of wine (French therefore more expensive) and a dessert, we paid around 30 euros. (127 Zlt)

It was while continuing our route to go towards the Auschwitz camp that we took photos of beautiful landscapes and streets where the Christmas market ended the afternoon of the 24th.

When we arrived in the town of Oswiecim it was the Birkenau extermination camp that we saw first on the photo on the left. Then the Auschwitz concentration camp located on the right photo.

The visit to this camp compared to the 1st we visited in Germany, we were even more touched because it is reputed to be the worst camp. In particular, I myself had several members of my family there. As can be seen in the photo below, the different places involved in the deportation.
